The Ring of Brodgar oblong frame is inspired by the Neolithic stone circle the Ring of Brodgar here in Orkney. Hand made in our studio in Kirkwall Orkney. The combination of ancient stones with the landscape, sky, loch and heather give this piece its colour palette. It is made fusing two pieces of glass together with enamels and coloured frit to give the colour, image and texture of the piece.
The fused glass is then mounted on white card and is in a white frame.
